Your New Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our project management team, ensuring the financial and contractual aspects of our projects are managed effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and managing project budgets and cost plans
2. Conducting cost analysis and risk management
3. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
4. Evaluating and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
5. Monitoring project progress and preparing detailed financial reports
6. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
7. Advising on procurement strategy and contractual matters
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
8. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
9. Strong analytical and numerical skills
10. Excellent knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes
11. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
12. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
14. Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field
