Job Description
As a Senior Analyst, Derivatives you will be responsible for administering daily BAU tasks and client deliverables. This includes understanding trade life cycles and process flows, responding to client pricing queries, and resolving valuation issues. You will also work with independent pricing vendors to obtain prices for OTC derivatives and resolve valuation disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administering BAU tasks and client deliverables on a daily basis.
* Understanding of trade life cycle and process flow (trade capture, valuations, settlements collateral management etc.).
* Respond, investigate and resolve any client pricing queries and price challenges routed to EMEA for IOO, Custody and Fund Accounting clients.
* Trade booking of non-automated OTC products on Vendor templates to ensure the accurate capture of valuations and pricing.
* Perform daily investigation of reconciliation threshold breaks between NT and Client specific valuation reports.
* Work with independent pricing vendors to obtain prices for OTC Derivatives and resolve valuation issues.
* Resolution of Pricing Control reports including Quality Control checks.
* Highlighting process issues and driving change by working with internal groups to enhance the operational process where appropriate.
* Assist with testing of change management projects including NT, Client, Vendor and Counterparty service enhancements.
* Assisting with any new client issues and Client On-boarding.
* Assisting with Control, Audit andpliance teams on both internal and external queries.
* Attend Client Service review meetings and be able to present and create presentation material.
* Provision of general support to the Global Pricing team.

Key responsibilities include adopting a questioning approach to current methods, providing viable alternatives, continually seeking to increase the level of automation of BAU processes, managing the query process, maintaining up to date procedures manuals, adhering to company standards and procedures and maintaining work files in a neat and orderly manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A keen awareness of the Financial Services Industry is essential, along with a graduate degree in a relevant subject. Highly numerate and analytical skills are required, along with an ability to learn quickly. Advanced understanding of Over the Counter Swaps is also necessary. Additionally, creative and dynamic problem solving skills, the ability to work on own initiative and adhere to strict deadlines, a professional approach and ability to develop relationships both internally and externally, proficiency in using email and standard Microsoft Office packages, and experience of Bloomberg are beneficial.
