My client is seeking two proactive and experienced
SHEQ Officers
to join the dynamic team on two Dublin sites. This is a site-based role supporting civil engineering and construction projects across Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards, driving continuous improvement and promoting a strong safety culture on-site.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and monitor SHEQ policies and procedures across active sites.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
* Support project teams with SHEQ documentation and reporting.
* Promote awareness and training on lifting operations and temporary works.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies as required.
* Use digital construction tools and Microsoft Office to maintain accurate records and reports.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum
5 years' experience
in a similar
site-based SHEQ Manager
role within civil engineering or construction projects, preferably in Ireland.
* NEBOSH Diploma or Certification
in Occupational Health and Safety (held for
3+ years
).
* Demonstrated
awareness of lifting operations and temporary works
.
* Strong
IT skills
, including proficiency in
Microsoft Word & Excel
and digital construction platforms.
* Clean driving licence
– travel to multiple sites is required.
* Right to work in the Republic of Ireland
is essential.
