Overview
As a Project Manager, you will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact IT infrastructure and application implementation projects on time, within scope, with high quality and aligned with business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in project planning, stakeholder management, and execution while driving collaboration and ensuring quality standards are met. This is an exciting opportunity for a results‑driven professional with a passion for technology and proven expertise in managing medium-scale initiatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Client Relations – Understand project objectives and business value from the user’s point of view, stay customer focused, and build trusted relationships with users.
Communication – Deliver excellent verbal and written communication, including summaries, presentations, and executive reports.
Team Leadership / Development – Organise, manage and lead the project team to success; support team members; build strong relationships with colleagues and external IT partners; handle situations to create positive outcomes; demonstrate self‑awareness; provide mentoring.
Project Planning and Management – Plan and manage project scope, schedules, resources, budget, issues and risks; monitor detail; proactively identify and address risks; use change management to control scope; track and report progress.
Relevant Technical & Business Knowledge
Experience in the information technology industry, especially infrastructure technologies (virtualisation, networking).
Experience in application implementation for business units, particularly clinical applications.
Demonstrated financial awareness and working knowledge of analytical and problem‑solving techniques and tools.
Process orientation – use organisational PMO processes and project‑management standards to provide consistent and excellent services and continuously improve processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in a healthcare environment highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree required, with 3+ years of professional experience in a project implementation capacity.
Project‑management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) preferred.
Full Clean Driver’s Licence essential.
Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 per annum based on a 39‑hour week.
