Job Description:
Maintenance Operations Specialists play a vital role in supporting manufacturing and technical departments through the calibration, maintenance, and development of processes and operations.
1. Calibration and Maintenance
o Develop and implement planned maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
2. Sourcing and Tooling
o Evaluate and provide jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support production schedules and technical development.
3. Equipment Safety
o Maintain equipment in accordance with safety protocols to protect personnel.
4. Troubleshooting and Response
o Provide prompt response and troubleshooting services to address breakdowns and processing problems.
5. Procurement
o Liaise with suppliers and contractors to identify and procure necessary requirements.
6. Installation and Commissioning
o Install and commission new equipment while ensuring effective documentation.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 4 years in a maintenance environment with at least 2 years experience in medical device/pharmaceutical and/or diagnostics manufacturing.
2. Completed craft apprenticeship.
3. Experience in PLC Logic programming and wiring is beneficial.
