Senior Project Manager – Banking/Payments Technology

The ideal candidate has worked on and delivered end-to-end enterprise projects and knows exactly what needs to happen to ensure smooth delivery. This is an overarching role, planning and supporting, ensuring nothing is dropped for successful implementation.
We want a person who knows what needs to happen, ensuring all parties successfully deliver on their responsibilities, that everything is set up for migrations, ensuring things are ready for Go Live, working with external third parties, and ensuring they fully understand what is expected of them and have everything they need to support it going forward.
This role is involved in a number of areas: service design, service transition, and go-live activities, ensuring seamless integration and operation of new or modified services. The incumbent will oversee multiple workstreams, manage third-party deliverables, and ensure comprehensive run books are completed to guarantee project success.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define service requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Ensure adherence to service design and transition processes within delivery teams.
* Create detailed project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Develop run books to guide project activities from initiation to go-live.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
* Act as the primary liaison between business owners, project teams, operations, and external partners.
* Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders to ensure smooth service transitions.
* Oversee third-party vendors to ensure deliverables meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
* Ensure knowledge transfer between project and service teams to facilitate operational readiness.
* Lead go-live activities, ensuring services are transitioned smoothly into business-as-usual operations.
