You will help deliver key store targets (sales and profitability) through effective management of people and operations.Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years' experience in a management positionLevel 1 and Level 2 knowledge of food safetyGood knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Working knowledge of the CBE system is desirableExcellent communication and delegation skillsHighly driven with a strong work ethicUnderstanding of how to achieve KPIs and targetsCommercial awareness and brand understandingPassion for grocery retailThrive in a fast-paced working environmentMain Duties:Ensure customer satisfaction is the top priority at all timesMaintain merchandising and presentation of the store to the highest standard, in line with store planograms and guidelinesAssist the Store Manager in developing and training the team to meet SuperValu Retail Excellence and I-CARE Service Excellence standardsSupport the Store Manager in the smooth running of the store by prioritising and delegating workloadsLead by example, fostering teamwork and a positive work atmosphereSupport staff management, including rostering, timekeeping, and annual leaveManage employee performance, giving regular feedback, recognition, and encouragementEnsure the company GOLD system reflects an accurate picture of performanceEnsure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, alcohol sale, and employment legislationSet, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs as agreed with the Store ManagerActively live SuperValu brand values: Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative, and Imaginative.
