Job Opportunity: Department Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a department, ensuring exceptional customer care and operational standards, and maximising sales and profitability while maintaining costs.
Key Responsibilities
1. To deliver the budgeted plan for the department and any subsequent forecasts.
2. To lead the team in a manner appropriate to the brand, delivering the agreed business strategy.
3. To ensure all relevant trading safely and legal policies are in place and adhered to.
4. To maximise sales through analysing sales data, department trading patterns, and pre-empting customer needs and demands.
5. In conjunction with senior management, to maintain stock accuracy and ensure the department has the right choice and levels of product to drive sales.
