We are now hiring a Head of Sales to build and lead our commercial engine. This is a foundational leadership hire.
The Role
This is a hands‑on commercial leadership role. In the first 12 months, you will operate as:
A high‑performing closer
A strategic advertising operator
A commercial architect
The revenue driver of the business
As revenue scales, you will:
Build and lead a sales team
Formalise commercial structure
Help shape pricing and product packaging
Sit as a key member of the leadership team
This role is about building the revenue backbone of SocialTies.
Core Responsibilities
Revenue Generation (Primary Focus)
You will own and drive:
Digital Ad Inventory Sales
Sell digital advertising packages across SocialTies communities
Build recurring ad revenue streams
Drive volume as we scale into new communities
National Advertiser Partnerships
Secure brands operating across multiple communities
Develop scalable multi‑county packages
Position SocialTies as a national digital sports network
Corporate Sponsorship Consultancy
Structure and sell high‑value sponsorship packages in conjunction with community directors and sponsorship teams.
Work alongside county boards to build commercial strategy
Support long‑term multi‑year agreements
Strategic Commercial Development
You will:
Shape pricing models
Recommend packaging strategies
Identify new monetisation opportunities
Advise the CEO on commercial positioning
This is not a “just execute” role — strategic input is expected.
Relationship Management
This role is highly relationship‑driven.
You will:
Build trust with communities and commercial directors
Represent SocialTies publicly
Attend corporate events as required
Maintain strong advertiser relationships
Protect brand integrity while driving revenue
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
5+ years in sales
Strong advertising sales experience
Media, agency, SaaS or sponsorship background welcome
Sports industry knowledge a strong advantage
Existing advertiser relationships a plus
Comfortable building from scratch

Compensation
This role uses a Strategic Hybrid Model designed to reward sustainable revenue growth.
€75,000 – €90,000 base salary
5–10% commission on net new revenue
Equity (0.5%–1%)
