Days role – 7:00am - 4:00pm
We’re working with a well-established food manufacturing site in Bandon looking to add a Mechanical Fitter to their team.
This is a days-based role with consistent overtime available, offering strong earning potential and good work-life balance compared to shift environments.
Key Responsibilities
Planned and reactive maintenance across plant and equipment
Fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
Mechanical repair, fabrication, and installation work
Support continuous improvement and maintenance planning
Work closely with production to keep operations running smoothly
Ensure compliance with H&S, hygiene, and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
2+ years’ experience in a maintenance / mechanical engineering role
Strong mechanical background with basic electrical fault-finding ability
Experience in manufacturing (food/FMCG ideal, but not essential)
Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
Team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment
