My client is seeking a Data Architect with strong expertise in data modelling (relational, conceptual, logical, and dimensional) and a proven track record designing ETL architectures.

Key Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, including data integration and transformation.
Define and promote data architecture principles within Azure.
Design modern, reference data architectures aligned to business needs.
Develop and implement ETL pipelines based on best-practice architectures.
Lead migration of on-premise solutions to Azure environments.
Set standards for data modelling and data warehouse design.
Establish processes and governance for data architecture practices.
Your Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong background in software development and Agile delivery.
Experience building data engineering solutions and pipelines.
Deep knowledge of data architecture patterns across descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
Expertise in data modelling: relational (Inmon) and dimensional (Kimball), including SCD (Types 1 & 2).
Hands-on experience with modern data platforms: Data Lakes, Delta Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Lakehouses.
Proven experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake).
Ability to design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Strong documentation, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience working across diverse IT environments and platforms.
