As the company continues to scale, they are transitioning key finance activities from outsourced support into an internal function.About the RoleThey are now seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of core financial operations, provide structure and visibility across cashflow and reporting, and work closely with senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Ideally (but not essentially), candidates should hail from an agency background. This is a broad, operational role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, process improvement, and being embedded in the day-to-day running of a growing business.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Compliance Manage monthly payroll processes and associated statutory submissionsPrepare and file VAT returns in line with Irish regulationsEnsure ongoing compliance with Revenue and other statutory obligationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ledgersAct as the primary point of contact for external accountants and advisorsBilling, Revenue & Credit Control Oversee invoicing linked to time tracking and project deliveryEnsure invoices are raised accurately and in a timely mannerTrack invoice status and follow up on outstanding balancesSupport effective debtor management and revenue completenessCashflow & Financial Control Manage supplier payments and payment schedulesComplete regular bank reconciliationsMaintain a rolling cashflow forecast and highlight risks proactivelyMonitor ongoing operational spend and introduce basic cost controlsManagement Reporting & Planning Prepare monthly management accountsProduce a concise monthly financial and KPI summary for leadershipMaintain and update a rolling 12-month budgetDeliver regular budget vs actual analysis with commentaryQualifications3–6+ years' experience in a finance role within an SME, agency, or professional services environmentStrong working knowledge of Irish payroll and VAT requirementsExperience managing end-to-end finance operations rather than a narrow specialismRequired SkillsComfortable working independently with a high degree of ownershipHighly organised with strong attention to detailCommercially aware and able to communicate financial information clearlyProactive mindset with an interest in improving systems and processesMotivated to grow into a broader finance or leadership role over timePreferred SkillsThis position offers genuine scope for progression as the business expands, including exposure to more complex financial planning and potential involvement in international operations in the future.
