EPS Group are seeking a dependable Warehouse Operative (Goods In) to join the team on a temporary basis. This role will support the smooth running of warehouse operations, with a strong focus on goods receiving, stock accuracy and coordination with internal teams and suppliers. The successful candidate will be organised, safety-conscious, comfortable using IT systems and able to work effectively as part of a team while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse..Responsibilities:Performing daily forklift checksConducting shelf, ladder, and health & safety inspections, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of both Domestic and Project StoresThe role involves managing stock, including loading and unloading pallets with the forklift, receiving and labelling inventory, conducting stock cycle counts using scanners and auditing shelves to ensure proper labelling and part locationAdditionally, the individual will liaise with the accounts team on supplier queries and collaborate with fitters and engineers regarding order arrivals and locationsOther tasks include overseeing logistics for our other branches in Mountrath, Ballyhaunis, and Naas, performing IT-related operations such as ERP, word processing, email, and label printing, and participating in supplier product training and internal training sessionsEnsuring health and safety compliance, preparing for ISO audit inspections, and supporting warehouse improvement projects through LEAN initiatives are also key aspects of this roleThe individual will also manage order queries, maintain Kanban systems, process warranty returns, and handle general requestsSkills/ Abilities:Excellent attention to detail and self-motivation skillsProven ability to work well with a teamGood communication skills (verbal and written)We welcome speculative applications from individuals of all levels.If you are interested in working with us but are not sure if the role above is for you, please feel free to get in touch for an informal discussion about what we do and what you could bring to the team.
