Morgan McKinley is excited to present this opportunity for a Head of Facilities to join a large corporate client based in Dublin 4, at a time of significant growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team during an exciting period of growth, where you will have access to a comprehensive package within a large organisation. The Head of Facilities will hold a strategic role, managing building and facilities assets, and ensuring organisational health and safety. You will lead a team of two (with anticipated future growth) and will be responsible for a large office in Dublin, capable of accommodating up to 1,000 workers, and a smaller hub in West Ireland. With a large proportion of the services delivered through third party service providers you will be responsible for ensuring that the best results are achieved in a cost effective manner. What will I be doing? Maintaining and developing strong relationships with external providers for facilities, securities and catering services Setting workplace Health & Safety strategies to ensure legislative requirements and best practices are met Developing roadmaps and planning ahead of optimise the facilities function Managing risk assessments processes to control risk and prevent accidents Managing the training process for all relevant health and safety training for staff onsite Ensuring strict management of regulatory compliance and keeping up to date with new legislations Working closely with senior management team to ensure procedures are being followed and issues reported Overseeing and facilities management projects Setting, reviewing and implementing appropriate service level standards Working closely with the finance team to track and manage budgets What is required of me? A minimum of 8 years experience in a Senior Facilities leadership role Strong understanding of health and safety legislations Previous experience leading a team Excellent communication and negotiation skills Process driven with ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances Full working authorisation in Ireland Excellent relationship building skills Experience working in a corporate environment is essential If you are interested in hearing more, then don't hesitate to apply today!
