Senior Defence Litigation Solicitor [5 years + PQE]

Our client, a leading mid-tier firm in Dublin has engaged us to recruit a Senior Defence Litigation Solicitor.
This would suit an experienced Senior Litigation Solicitor, Senior Associate or Salary Partner with experience in Defence Litigation/Insurance Defence.
Our client is a well-established firm with a significant client base, very sociable atmosphere and there are significant opportunities for progression in the firm.
You will need a minimum of 5 years PQE and be completely familiar with all aspects of Defence Litigation from initial consultation through to settlement/ hearing in both personal injuries and professional indemnity. Someone with Employment law experience would be desirable.
Particular experience required;
* Hardworking and ability to run own caseload and files and work without supervision and moving cases along expeditiously
* Experience in dealing with Insurance Companies & Claims Handlers
* Provision of strong legal advice to clients, identifying areas of potential financial risk and providing expert/timely proactive guidance
* Know and have extensive experience in the full Insurance Defence process, investigations, risk assessments, organising medical reports, quantum, claims, motions, beefing counsel, attending court etc.
* Accidents at work, slip & fall
* Professional Indemnity
* Contractual Disputes.
