In partnership with our client, one of Ireland's leading insurance brokers we are seeking experiencedCommercial Lines Account Handler for their Dublin South Office.Our client provides a comprehensive insurance broking service to all business sectors and professions and their activities span the full range of commercial and personal general insurances.They provides a comprehensive insurance broking service to all business sectors and professions and our activities span the full range of commercial and personal general insurances.Key Responsibilities:To service a portfolio of commercial customers in order to retain profitable existing business and generate new business.Provide day to day and service to existing clients by issuing renewals, conducting renewal comparisons and market research, finalising insurance placements, and updating and issuing policy schedules and documentation.Collect and submit any additional information required by underwriters and follow up to ensure placement of the risk.Accurately input all information into Applied Relay and ensure file notes are clear and concise.Handle ad hoc customer queries and requests as they arise including mid-term adjustments, claims reporting etc.Maintain an up-to-date diary management system to ensure all outstanding items are actioned and closed out within the required timeframes.Maintain good file management and documentation to ensure compliance with all legal requirements, Central Bank codes and the company's procedures and business ethics.Stay ahead of insurer updates, parameters, and risk appetites.Assist and provide support to the Team Leader or Account Executive as required.Experience / Skills:Minimum of 2 years broking experienceGood knowledge of commercial insurances product ranges across the various markets for one or more of the following:Commercial PropertyEmployer's Liability & Public LiabilityProfessional IndemnityCommercial FleetSpecialist Insurance; Agri, Marine, Credit, Construction Bonds etcCustomer knowledge and understanding of their business.Strong organisation and administration skillsExcellent attention to detailClear and comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and legal environmentStrong IT skills with previous experience of Applied Relay being desirable but not essentialExcellent customer service and organisation skills with strong attention to detailAbility to work as part of a team and on own initiativeWhat they offer:Market competitive salary and benefits package includes tax efficient and discounted stock purchase schemes and pension schemeHybrid working arrangements on completion of probationPaid annual membership to the Insurance Institute of IrelandDiscounted staff insurances for motor, home and healthCycle to Work and Travel Saver SchemesComprehensive education, full training and development support in a vibrant and progressive working environment
