Senior Cloud Platform Specialist
About the Role
This position requires a Senior Cloud Platform Specialist to lead and develop scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The successful candidate will have expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and GKE clusters.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure as Code: Design and implement secure GCP projects using Terraform for resources such as VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager, Artifact Registry.
2. Kubernetes Operations: Manage hardened GKE clusters with RBAC network policies and secure deployment practices.
3. Automated Workloads: Automate deployment and monitoring of Python-based Cloud Functions integrated with Pub/Sub BigQuery internal systems.
4. CICD Pipelines: Develop GitLab pipelines with security scanning image signing controlled releases environment promotions.
The ideal candidate must have 4+ years experience in DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering within production environments. They should also be skilled in Terraform GKE Cloud Functions IAM Kubernetes RBAC audit logging regulated high-security environments. Strong GitLab CI CD experience proficiency in Python scripting automation familiarity Prometheus Grafana Monitoring is required.
