Responsibilities
* Producing Design Specifications, marking up and checking design drawings, supporting on-site activities (technical submittal reviews, answering RFIs, etc.), site inspections, equipment qualifications, and presenting designs to stakeholders (page turns).

The team consists of Electrical Engineers with Design Engineering backgrounds, often with consulting experience, and includes professionals with practical knowledge of the systems they design.

Basic Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in power systems and mission-critical electrical design.
* Excellent understanding of European Electrical Codes and detailed knowledge of critical LV, MV, and HV electrical equipment.
* Understanding of relays, protection schemes, high-voltage circuit breakers, power and distribution transformers, electrical switchgear, grounding and earthing; ability to research new designs and construction methods for data center equipment and facilities.
* Ability to carry new design concepts through exploration, development, deployment/construction, and perform complex business case analyses to justify technical decisions and present them to management at a high level.
Preferred Qualifications
* Chartered Engineer with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in data center or mission-critical facility design.
* Experience in consultant negotiation and management for design, construction, and fast-track design/build projects, or multiple significant upgrade projects.
* Extensive knowledge of building codes and regulations; ability to find cost-reducing, innovative solutions without impacting quality, reliability, or maintainability.
* Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills in a dependable manner.
