Job Description
Our Programme uses a health lead approach, treating the whole person with a holistic approach. The successful applicant will work for Tiglin Challenge within the authority delegated to him/her by the manager. They will work as part of the Tiglin Challenge Men’s Centre Team, with men whose lives have been challenged with life controlling issues. Work alongside Programme Manager in strategic research, planning and development of programme. Applicants must have an understanding and experience of working in residential rehabilitation sector. The post will be working collaboratively with the Centre Manager and team, including keyworkers/floor staff/volunteers. Team Lead will be working a 40-hour week Monday to Friday inclusive. Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Third Level Qualification minimum of Level 7 required. Leadership Skills. Full Clean Driver’s License - desirable. Essential competencies: Commitment to providing the highest level of service, communication skills–oral, aural and written, openness to change, effective team working, professionalism, respect for others, focus on outcomes, contributing to the prevention and management of challenging behaviour and resilience and positive outlook, (All other competencies to be reviewed as part of the supervision and support process) Minimum 12 months experience in the area of addiction, homelessness and/or residential care. To have empathy/compassion towards people who struggle with addiction and be able to hold to Christian beliefs and principles.
