Job Description
We are urgently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 3- Clinical service for a hospital in Cork Ireland.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across designated services or departments.
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing and clinical services in line with organisational goals.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centred care across all areas of responsibility.
Manage workforce planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and service performance.
Ensure compliance with NMBI standards, HIQA regulations, national policies, and hospital governance frameworks.
Lead quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, risk management, and incident review processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
Collaborate with senior management, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to support service development and innovation.
Requirements
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a people management role
Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate acute care nursing experience
Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and clinical skills
ACLS course completed or willingness to undertake the course
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
