These include modular data centres, packaged MEP plantrooms, and skid-mounted mechanical assemblies.The role requires proven experience in offsite manufacturing and modular construction, with designs developed specifically for Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), factory assembly, testing, certification, transportation, and repeatable deployment across global regions.**How you will do it*** Lead the mechanical design of modular plantrooms, packaged MEP systems, and modular data centre solutions.* Develop chilled water, pumping, and heat rejection systems suitable for mission-critical environments.* Produce and review P&IDs, schematics, GA drawings, technical specifications, and Descriptions of Operation.* Design systems specifically for offsite manufacturing and DfMA principles.* Ensure designs are optimized for factory assembly, testing, transportation, and repeatability.* Interface with manufacturing, quality, commissioning, suppliers, clients, and certification bodies.* Support technical submittals, design reviews, and third-party approvals.* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.**What we look for*** Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.* 8+ years experience in mechanical building services or industrial MEP design.* Demonstrable experience in offsite manufacturing and modular construction (core requirement).* Experience delivering modular or packaged mechanical systems for data centres or other mission-critical facilities.* Strong expertise in chilled water systems, pumping, and thermal management.* Experience producing factory-ready design documentation suitable for fabrication and testing.Desirable Experience* Experience with liquid-cooled data centre systems.* Familiarity with UL / cURus, CE, PED, ASHRAE, EN, and ISO standards.* Chartered Engineer or working toward chartership.* Experience working across multiple regions (EU, US, Middle East).* Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities or project sites may be required.#AVRIL#LI-Onsitelocations: Dublin-Dublin-Irelandtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 11 Days Agolocations: Dublin-Dublin-Irelandtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted TodayYour buildings have a purpose.
