The Role of a Specialist in Restaurant Quality Assurance is pivotal to maintaining food safety, quality and regulatory compliance across the organization.
Job Description
This position plays a key role in supporting global food safety and quality programs by ensuring that all products and processes meet regulatory requirements. The Specialist will be responsible for data analysis, preparing food safety information for key stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate new and existing procedures.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the management of quality assurance programs related to pest control, FSA, HDI, distribution, complaint monitoring, training & education.
* Creates and distributes food safety-related data and reports.
* Assists with product and process testing, validating, and ensuring regulatory needs are met.
* Supports routine QA workshops and education for assigned restaurants or organizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have an Associate's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Nutrition or Microbiology or equivalent experience in the food industry. A minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety or operations is required, along with basic understanding of food safety and microbiology. Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are also essential.
