Overview
Investigation Specialist - Korean and English Speaker, KYC. LOCATION: this is a virtual role based in Ireland. It is mandatory to live or be willing to relocate to Ireland. CONTRACT: 6 months. START DATE: 24th November.

Role: Investigators evaluate transactions and mitigate online ecommerce risk while protecting the global customer base, profitability, and brand. The team works in shifts (including weekends) to cover Amazon’s 7-day operation. Shifts are confirmed after training and flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
* Investigate suspicious buyer activity and behavior that could pose a risk to Amazon, customers, or merchants.
* Communicate via email and telephone with buyers, merchants, and other external and internal customers to make informed risk decisions.
* Maintain Amazon's site quality by enforcing Amazon's Policy Guidelines.
* Identify and help minimize risk posed by fraud patterns and trends; follow escalation paths when procedures are unavailable to ensure resolution.
* Participate in special projects/assignments and partner with appropriate business teams as necessary.
* Consistently achieve/exceed weekly productivity and quality standards.
Basic Qualifications
* Proficiency in both English and Korean with the ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses.
* Experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous work experience in a customer service/retail environment.
* Knowledge of or experience in a fraud/risk management environment.
* Experience in insurance, finance, data analysis, research, translation or training.
* Strong organizational skills, ability to manage time, and prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority.
* Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to internal and external customers.
