Future Plastics is a rapidly expanding manufacturing facility with a global client base within the aerospace sector. We have a great opportunity for an experienced and skilled CNC Machine Setter to join our team. You should have a minimum of 1 years of experience in CNC machine setting, with strong knowledge of G-code and CAD. You will be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting CNC machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality components. Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring accurate machine calibration and tooling configuration.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans to determine the proper machine settings.
* Program, edit, and modify G-code for optimal machine performance and production output.
* Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
* Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous operation.
* Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating parts.
* Collaborate with the production and quality assurance teams to optimize processes and product quality.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 years of experience in CNC machine setting or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of G-code programming and editing.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and precision.
* Basic math skills and proficiency in measuring tools (callipers, micrometres, etc.).
* Ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues and make timely adjustments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Third Level Qualification.
* Experience with various CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, etc.).
* Certifications or formal training in CNC programming or machining.
