Responsibilities:
* Maintain automation equipment for optimal performance by performing preventative and corrective maintenance with thorough documentation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues efficiently.
* Implement process improvements that adhere to cGMP standards.
* Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and manage spare parts inventory effectively.
* Cross-train technicians to enhance team productivity.
* Travel for equipment support and training purposes.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (GMP).
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong problem-solving skills and innovative technical solutions.
* cGMP and change management adherence.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Safety consciousness and MS Office proficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Level 6-8 HETAC qualification in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical, Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
* Qualified trades personnel with industrial experience are also considered.
* Prior experience with automation/robotics in high volume environments.
* Medical device manufacturing experience is desirable.
* Familiarity with pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, PLCs, servo motors, vision systems, ultrasonic welding, and machining.
* FAT, SAT, IOPQ experience in automated assembly is an asset.
