Assistant Manager Job
Red Chair Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for a well-established client in Macroom, Co. Cork.
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the hotel, providing excellent customer service to all employees and working as part of a team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the general manager in maintaining operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Provide exceptional customer service to employees and guests alike.
* Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives.
* Manage and work within a team, as well as taking the initiative to complete tasks independently.
* Apply analytical and financial management skills to drive business growth.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and quality service being paramount.
* Be flexible with working 5 days per week/40 hours, including days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in hotel management, focusing on operations and guest service.
2. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
3. Experience with food service is essential.
4. Strong analytical and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
