We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to join a dynamic, fast-paced finance team. This is an office-based role in Meath, offering the opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing A/P function while driving process improvements and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
 1. Lead and mentor Accounts Payable Specialists, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
 2. Oversee invoice review and approval, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
 3. Implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
 4. Manage vendor relationships and resolve queries promptly.
 5. Prepare reports on A/P metrics and payment cycles for senior leadership.
 6. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
 7. Collaborate with finance, procurement, and other departments to streamline processes.
Requirements:
 8. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
 9. Significant experience in Accounts Payable at enterprise level.
 10. Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams.
 11. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
 12. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
 13. Full driving license and own transport (location not accessible by public transport).
