Title: Ocean Freight- Exports Location: Cork Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid Package: €DOE We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Ocean Freight Export Coordinator to join a dynamic logistics team in Cork. This role will focus on managing end-to-end export operations via ocean freight, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods for international clients. Key Responsibilities: Manage full cycle of ocean freight export shipments from booking to delivery Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, hauliers, and customs brokers Prepare and process export documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer requirements Liaise with clients and overseas agents to provide updates and resolve issues Monitor shipments and proactively manage any delays or disruptions Maintain accurate records within the freight management system Support continuous improvement initiatives within the export department Requirements: 2+ years experience in ocean freight forwarding, ideally in exports Strong understanding of international shipping practices and export documentation Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures Excellent communication and customer service skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously Proficiency in freight systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment For a confidential discussion on this or any other current opportunity, please contact Nicola Murphy IAC-Aug25 Skills: Export Documentation Customs Clearance Freight Management System
