About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced communications coordinator to join our team. As a senior communications coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and content of regular and effective member communications, including daily updates and newsletters.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the development of website content and structure, drawing on business activity from across the wider team
* Drive all content creation for social media and digital channels, leveraging materials such as events, press releases, and publications
* Monitor, develop, and distribute weekly updates on Oireachtas activity and oversee the real-time monitoring and reporting of key agenda items, debates, and relevant PQs as they arise
* Support the management of communications and media strategy with the Head of Communications
* Work with the Head of Events to support the rollout of conference and events programme
* Provide support across the wider team in the production of reports and papers, availing of digital tools, ensuring consistency of and adherence to brand guidelines
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in communications coordination and content creation
* Excellent communication and project management skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong understanding of digital channels and social media platforms
* Knowledge of brand guidelines and marketing principles
