Key Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for managing project controls, leading teams, and overseeing financial management processes.
A critical aspect of this role is developing and implementing effective commercial management processes, which involves shaping strategies to drive profitability and reduce risk.
The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Procurement and Cost Management Team Lead to establish commercial goals, track financial performance, and make informed decisions to achieve business objectives.
* Cost Control and Financial Management:
o Develop and implement project-specific cost control processes to ensure project profitability.
o Monitor and analyse financial performance, project costs, and other performance parameters.
o Conduct variance analyses, track actuals against budgets, and report project financials.
o Collaborate with project and business leadership to determine corrective actions for poor financial performance.
Additional responsibilities include managing change requests, negotiating with clients, and monitoring project progress to identify potential areas for improvement.
