Our client is currently seeking a skilled Legal Bookkeeper/Administrator to join their team.
This role is ideal for candidates who are experienced in legal bookkeeping and are looking for a position where they can work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Day-to-day responsibilities
Manage and maintain the firm's financial records in compliance with legal standards.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
Prepare financial statements and reports for review.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with budget preparation and financial audits.
Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of all financial data.
Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Work independently on daily tasks and projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in legal bookkeeping.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
