Financial Accountant Cork We are seeking a fully qualified Financial Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations and reporting activities of the finance function.Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and business partnering within a collaborative finance team.Key Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting and forecasting processes Prepare and contribute to management reports for senior stakeholders Analyse monthly results, investigate variances and support financial reviews Assist with cashflow, treasury, liquidity and working capital reporting and forecasting Own and maintain accurate expense reporting processes Support external audit processes and preparation of statutory financial statements Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements Act as a finance business partner to internal departments, supporting operational and ad hoc initiatives Provide support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll activities Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations accurately and on time Maintain the general ledger, including journal postings and month-end close activities Support external financial filings (e.g.Revenue, CSO) Monitor and support cashflow forecasting Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including additions and disposals Provide cover for payroll processing when required Requirements Fully qualified ACCA, ACA Degree in Finance/Accounting or related.
