The Role The Successful Production Duty Manager will oversee daily production operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while leading improvement initiatives and supporting team development.
Key responsibilities include: Managing production performance to meet key KPIs (yield, efficiency, quality, service level).
Driving lean manufacturing initiatives (e.g.
5S, Kaizen, VSM).
Leading and coaching teams to foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Coordinating shift handovers, staffing plans, and cross-functional communication.
Implementing and tracking improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Supporting audits, compliance, and accurate SOP/WI implementation.
The Person We are looking to speak to candidates that are organised and motivational leaders, with strong manufacturing experience and a proven track record in operational excellence.
You will bring: Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a supervisory position An understanding of lean tools and continuous improvement principles will be a distinct advantage.
Experience managing and developing teams in a production environment.
Confidence in coordinating across departments and delivering strategic initiatives.
A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
