Applications are invited for the following position:
INSTRUCTOR (SENIOR GRADE) / DAY SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR
Specified Purpose Full Time Contract
LOCATION:LIMERICK COMMUNITY SERVICES
* At least 4 years experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis
* Level 8 (Higher Degree) qualification in Teaching, Training and Development, Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Psychology or other relevant qualification.(A Level 7 degree will be considered from applicants who have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in the intellectual disability sector)
* Working knowledge of New Directions Framework (HSE)
* Experience in leading a team of staff in the development and implementation of person centred planning framework
* Experience of working with individuals with Autism and supporting the delivery of service to people who may display behaviours of concern
* Experience in risk management
* Experience in liaising with MDT teams, families and external agencies who may be involved in the support of people attending the services
* Supervisory ability and capability in the management of staff and people supported by the services.
* Ability to assist in service planning
* Full Clean Drivers Licence
* Knowledge of HIQA Standards and Regulations
