Civil, Structural, Architectural Design Manager - KildareA professional and proven international technical engineering and construction contractor have an exciting opportunity for a CSA Design Manager based in Co Kildare. Specialising in the design and construction of projects across Food, Pharmaceutical, Logistics, Data Centre and Advanced Manufacturing sectors. Based in Kildare the role will focus on projects within the International Pre Construction team for Ireland and Europe. Reporting to the International Pre Construction Director the role will focus on the management of design deliverables in accordance with construction and Client's requirements.ResponsibilitiesManagement of design deliverables in accordance with construction and Client's requirementsCoordination of all design matters between the key project stakeholders – Client, specialist designers, sub-contractors and Project TeamManagement of key milestone deliverables for completion in relation to quality of design,implementation and coordination of design changes including Quality Assurance in accordance with the design consultants' contracted scope of servicesLead design meetings with clients, consultants, and sub-contractorsSupport Project Team in terms of all necessary design information for constructionCo-lead BIM Coordination process with BIM teamReview and control of the construction drawings, shop drawings and technical submittalsManagement of As-built design Package with Project TeamQuality control during construction via site visitReport weekly/monthly design statusKey Skills & QualificationsCompleted studies in architecture, structural, civil engineering, MEP or a comparable qualification.Professional experience in one of the aforementioned areas.Sound knowledge of materials and products and basic understanding in the field of fire protection and building physics as well as a good spatial imagination.Good knowledge in the use of BIM and CAD programs as well as in the field of digital managementSolution-oriented thinking, negotiating skills as well as a good feel for people and issues and strong communication skills.Safe application of building standards and guidelines.Must be fluent in English, another European language would be beneficialBenefits & Next Steps:Permanent OpportunityCompetitive packageAvailable nowIreland & UK ProjectsTo discuss this position further feel free to contact Regina Fitzpatrick on or email and an updated resume including projects and duties.
