Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician looking to work in a GMP-regulated, high-performing pharmaceutical environment? We’re hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician (Utilities) to join our client’s Dublin 15 team and help keep critical systems running smoothly.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical utility systems—ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Working across multiple buildings, you'll support site operations, reliability programs, and shutdowns, while maintaining the highest EHS and cGMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on utilities systems
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues across pumps, HVAC, chillers, boilers, clean steam, CIP, and more
* Liaise with contractors and client utilities teams
* Maintain and update SOPs, risk assessments, and equipment documentation
* Support shutdowns, commissioning, and reliability programs
* Use CMMS and work within the Permit to Work system
* Follow 5S and housekeeping practices across all workspaces
What You’ll Need:
* Senior Trades / City & Guilds / Mechanical qualification
* 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in utilities or pharma or similar highly compliant environments
* Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, boilers, purified water systems, and HVAC
* Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, P&IDs, and preventive maintenance systems
* Basic instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, and BMS understanding
* Comfortable using CMMS and IT tools
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical, detail-oriented approach
* Team player with a proactive mindset and flexible attitude
