ElevatePartners have been retained on behalf of a new to market global Venture Fund,who due to growth and on the back of a successful fund raise are currentlylooking to hire a Senior Associate to join their Dublin team. Our client hasinvested over 3 billion globally across the early stage tech/med tech spacesince inception and are interested in speaking with investors with 5 -7 yrsexperience working in the venture or growth capital space preferably in theearly stage technology sector.
· Evaluation of potential investment opportunitieswith early stage technology businesses · Being part of and supporting the deal process whichincludes research – market, product and comparable businesses along with theappropriate due diligence· The individual will have a strong network in theentrepreneurial tech start up space in Ireland, or the right skills to enableus to support their integration in this space· Play a key role in creating the commercialframework for the deal and ensuring the negotiations are completed· Strong mentorship qualities and willing to supportthe development of the more junior members of the team
Requirements
· Full member of the Investments team, working on theexecution of acquisitions for the fund Origination of investments,carrying out an initial investment appraisal and due diligence of acquisitions· Full involvement in all aspects of the transactionprocess including valuations, preparing and reviewing of documents,negotiation, management of advisors through to completion· Working with investee companies to help themachieve their strategic objectives· Strong financial and commercial analysis includingmodelling, due diligence, research · Be able and willing to coach / mentor juniorcolleagues in this area· An ability to build strong relationships with theircolleagues, portfolio companies along with VC / Equity sponsorrelationships
