HCAs Needed for Community Support
* We are seeking HCAs to work in a community group home for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* The ideal candidate will have availability for days and nights, including shifts.
* Prior experience in ID services is preferred but not required.
* This role is approximately 6 weeks with the possibility of extension.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be working as part of a dynamic team providing support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily living tasks and provide support with personal care.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
* Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
* Maintain accurate records of service user progress and participation in activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma or Certificate in Healthcare Assistant (HCA) or related field.
* 1-2 years' experience working in healthcare or a related field.
* Familiarity with disability support practices and procedures.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
