Job Overview
This role is responsible for producing components that meet or exceed predetermined specifications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensures quality by inspecting parts visually and dimensionally, documenting results in real-time.
2. Maintains accuracy of batch documentation, ensuring it is filled in correctly.
3. Records measurement information and alerts relevant personnel of deviations from customer specifications or part prints.
4. Packages parts according to customer specifications, indicating status (accept/reject) as per proper procedures and specifications.
5. Places finished products in designated locations.
6. Understands and safely operates equipment.
7. Reports and/or corrects unsafe working conditions.
8. Performs secondary operations as needed to meet customer specifications.
9. Cleans machines and ancillary equipment.
10. Verifies labels for correct part and lot numbers.
11. Maintains packaging supplies at each machine.
12. Keepts work areas clean and organized through good housekeeping practices.
13. Determines machine status on OEE System to identify downtime and run time.
14. Complies with all site Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, training, and regulations.
15. Complies with local site company policies, procedures, and corporate policies.
16. Achieves adherence to the corporate Code of Conduct.
17. Performs additional duties as requested by direct supervisor.
18. Maintains methods/procedures and supporting documentation to meet Quality Systems ISO9001/ISO13485 and Environmental Management Systems ISO14001 requirements.
Requirements
* Good verbal reasoning, numerate ability, and mechanical aptitude skills.
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Basic computer knowledge.
* Willingness to work 4-shift basis - 24Hrs/day, 7 days/week.
* Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment with gown, cap, and personal protective equipment.
* Previous production experience advantageous.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements beneficial.
