Job Title: Front of House Receptionist
Location: Burnfoot, Co. Donegal
Hours: 42 hours per week
1. Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
2. Friday: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
Hourly Rate: €15 per hour
Contract: Long-term temporary, potentially until the end of the year with a view to permanent hire
About the Role
We are seeking a professional and friendly Front of House Receptionist to join our team in Burnfoot on a long-term basis. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. This role will support the Managing Director and assist the Travel Team with group business travel bookings.
Key Responsibilities
3. Manage a multi-line switchboard, answering and forwarding calls professionally.
4. Greet visitors, clients, and contractors; monitor visitor access and issue electronic passes in coordination with the Health & Safety team.
5. Organise meeting rooms and client refreshments.
6. Provide administrative support to the Managing Director.
7. Assist the Travel Department with overflow bookings for flights, ferry crossings, hotels, rail, taxis, and hire cars, issuing documentation to travelers.
8. Sort daily outgoing mail, messages, and ad hoc deliveries.
9. Perform other duties as required to support the smooth running of the office.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
10. 3 to 5 years' experience in a receptionist or customer/client-facing role in a professional environment.
11. Excellent administrative skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
12. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage priorities and work well under pressure.
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels.
14. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
15. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
