Technical ManagerThis is an established aircraft lessor with strong track record in mid life aircraft and engine investments. As they progress their investment strategy they are now expanding their presence in Ireland and have a new head count for their technical team.About the RoleThe Technical Manager will support its expanding portfolio of managed aircraft. This Dublin-based role focuses on fleet administration, technical coordination, and cross‑departmental support. It is a great opportunity for an entry level position into aircraft leasing from another aviation technical position.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate technical data for aircraft, engines, and components.Monitor fleet-wide technical issues (e.g., ADs, SBs, regulatory updates) and assess impact on asset values and maintenance claims.Support the management and review of maintenance reserve claims and other technical obligations under lease agreements.Prepare and update aircraft technical specifications.Contribute to continuous process and system improvements.Assist in the planning and execution of technical audits and inspections.Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, MROs, and other industry partners.Support aircraft inspections for acquisitions and disposals in collaboration with the Commercial team.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, or a related technical discipline—or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years).Experience with an aircraft lessor, airline, or MRO is an advantage.Understanding of engine maintenance, airline operations, and aviation regulatory frameworks.Familiarity with technical management systems (e.g., Leasepoint, SharePoint) is beneficial.Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across Commercial, Asset Management, and Lease Management teams.Interest in aviation maintenance, recordkeeping, budgeting, and maintenance forecasting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.The company are based in Dublin and offer a 3/2 hybrid working policy.Applicants must have a valid work authorisation for Ireland.
