Overview Apprentice Agricultural Mechanic Company: Carr Golf – Ireland's leading golf industry services provider; Division: Golf Course Maintenance Services (GCMS); Location: Dublin Carr Golf is Ireland's largest and fastest-growing managed services company for the golf industry. Our Golf Course Maintenance Services (GCMS) division manages 24 courses nationwide, delivering excellence in maintenance and presentation. Our expanding Plant & Machinery Maintenance Team plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our extensive fleet across all courses. Reporting to the Head of Plant & Machinery Maintenance, the Apprentice Agricultural Mechanic will: Undertake preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of golf course equipment. Support the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient machinery operations both on- and off-site. Work as part of a professional and supportive team committed to service excellence. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on equipment (diesel, petrol, and electric). Maintain and service mowers, tractors, rollers, utility vehicles, and other machinery. Complete regular servicing and mower blade sharpening. Keep accurate maintenance records, including parts and inventory. Train and guide team members in preventive maintenance and equipment use. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act Required Skills & Knowledge Technical Skills

Must be at least 16 years of age by 1st September Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview. Apprenticeship Programme Practical, hands-on training with exposure to modern golf course machinery. Leads to a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Agricultural Mechanics.
