Job Title: Health & Safety Officer
Our organisation is seeking a dedicated professional to promote safety, health and welfare throughout our operations. This role involves developing and implementing site-specific documentation in collaboration with ESS Group managers and employees.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
* Liaising with operational staff to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation through regular audits and inspections.
* Maintaining accurate records of incidents and near misses, and contributing to the development of corrective actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a related field, preferably in an operational capacity.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
