Job SummaryDreamtec Systems are looking for a highly skilled Senior Database & API Developerto design and optimise our varied data API systems and backend services. You'll work across database architecture, API development, and cloud-based deployment to help shape our core platforms. You will work closely with our Android development team to tailer our many API's to varied ERP customer systems. ry:What You'll DoDesign, build, and optimise relational/NoSQL databases.Develop scalable REST APIs and backend services.Improve performance through query tuning and monitoring.Implement secure API authentication/authorisation.Work with different SQL architectures and tools.Work on different OS environments like Embedded, Windows and Linux.Work closely with Product, QA, Data, and Infrastructure teams.Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews.Ability to work in a fastpaced, agile environment.What You Bring5+ years in backend/data engineeringStrong SQL and experience with major RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB etc.)Backend development in PHP, Python, Java, or Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).Solid understanding of API design, security, and best practices.Strong problemsolving ability and analytical thinking.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Nice to HaveExperience with Linux, MQTT, Messaging Protocols, Data Synch Technologies and Android Systems.Microservices and eventdriven architectureExposure to data warehousing or analytics platforms.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit theirresume, portfolio (if applicable), and a cover letterto
