Quantity Surveyor – Cork (Client-side)The Quantity Surveyor will join a consultancy team operating in a client-side capacity on pharmaceutical projects, playing a key role in supporting overall project delivery and commercial performance. Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will oversee procurement, cost planning and control, budgeting, estimating, administration of subcontractor accounts, and the preparation of progress reports and final accounts, ensuring strong commercial governance across complex pharma developments.ResponsibilitiesLiaise closely with Construction Directors and Contracts Managers to support project deliveryPrepare pricing for site works and development projectsMeasure works completed across a range of residential and commercial sitesMonitor and query variations, ensuring accurate documentation and cost controlMaintain cost tracking, measurement records, and financial reportingCompile variation logs and support subcontractor account managementAssist with budgeting, procurement, estimates, and preparation of final accountsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (preferred)Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar roleExperience working with contractors, preferably within the Irish construction industryStrong knowledge of groundworks, civil engineering, or residential/commercial constructionAbility to work independently with strong organisational and communication skills
