Job Summary:
Analog Devices International Unlimited Company is seeking a skilled Manager, Equipment Engineering to oversee the efficient operation of our equipment engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing employees, leading projects, and ensuring that tools and equipment are maintained to high standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Department Management: Manage, develop, and evaluate employees to ensure efficient department operations, including hiring, developing, promoting, engaging, and retaining talent while setting performance objectives to ensure functional goals are fully met.
* Project Leadership: Lead projects and project teams, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
* Tool Standards and Procedures: Develop and maintain tool standards and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence by equipment engineers.
* Tool Data Analysis: Coordinate tool data analysis, compile reports, present findings, recommend corrective actions, and propose long-term improvement plans.
* Installation and Maintenance: Track installation, site acceptance testing, and mass production readiness of new equipment; oversee the relocation of existing equipment to optimize workflow.
* Tool Record Management: Develop, implement, and maintain a system for tracking tool records, inspections, warranties, and service agreements.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues, improve reliability, review procedures, and minimize downtime.
* Critical Tool Performance: Monitor critical tool performance, ensuring maintenance schedules are followed and specifications are met.
* Emergency Recovery Plans: Research, develop, and implement emergency tool recovery plans.
* Safety Policies: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
