BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES IRELAND LIMERICK REGION Applications are invited for the following position: SOCIAL CARE MANAGER GRADE 3 (AREA MANAGER) Permanent Contract 39 hours per week LOCATION: LIMERICK COMMUNITY SERVICES Essential: Possess a relevant level 8 qualification e.g.
Social Care, Quality, Nursing, Management, etc.
Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in people management.
Have a proactive approach to leading, driving and implementing change with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
Have strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, innovative with the ability to work on own initiative along with the skills to manage and influence staff in a team working environment.
Have a strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations Have a strong knowledge of New Directions Standards Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing residential & day services to adults with an Intellectual Disability.
Have relevant knowledge and experience of providing services to adults with autism and an Intellectual disability Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
Will be required to meet staff and people supported by the services on a regular basis.
These visits will take place outside the normal 9 - 5 time frame.
