Project Manager – Ireland
Are you an experienced project leader with a passion for delivering complex engineering solutions on time, within budget, and to the highest standards? We are looking for a Project Manager to join a global services team, driving impactful projects primarily across Ireland.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle, from defining objectives and budgets to coordinating resources, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to align on goals and ensure seamless execution.
This role also involves active participation in daily and weekly team meetings, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to foster continuous improvement within the wider services team.
Key Responsibilities
* Define project goals, scope, and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Act as the main contact for technical queries, ensuring clarity across internal teams and external partners.
* Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans using industry-standard tools.
* Lead kick-off and alignment meetings to establish shared expectations and responsibilities.
* Maintain accurate project data in ERP systems to support informed decision-making.
* Build and lead effective project teams, balancing resources and resolving conflicts when they arise.
* Oversee site entry requirements and ensure compliance with customer protocols.
* Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
* Ensure adherence to safety, legal, and quality standards throughout project execution.
* Capture lessons learned and close out projects with full documentation and customer acceptance.
What We're Looking For
* A degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls preferred), or relatable work experience
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or working toward it, is a plus.
* Proven track record managing automation or engineering projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
* At least three years' experience leading diverse, complex projects.
* Background in manufacturing or process engineering is highly desirable.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
* Skilled in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools.
* Happy to work across a variety of locations, including working away for periods of time.
