Job Title: HR Generalist
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced HR professional to join our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to achieving key performance indicators and business objectives in the areas of EHS, Quality, Service, Cost, People Development, and Continuous Improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
* Maintain accurate training records and matrices to audit standards, including regulatory requirements.
* Develop best practices to reduce absenteeism, documenting control procedures and managing capability improvement in leadership.
* Enhance performance management practices, focusing on high-quality appraisals, recognition of excellent performers, and management of under-performing employees.
* Handle disciplinaries and grievances fairly and consistently.
* Support supervisors and managers proactively and efficiently with employee relations.
* Report and escalate health and safety issues, promoting a safe work environment and identifying areas for improvement.
* Ensure timely completion of payroll and management information reporting.
* Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on open roles and lead recruitment processes from start to finish.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 2-4 years' experience in training and HR roles in a manufacturing unionized environment, with excellent knowledge of training, HR plant processes, systems, and personnel.
* HR Qualification/CIPD Qualified.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Suite, Workday, and Core.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership teams, with the ability to influence change.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience leading HR initiatives and reviewing processes.
* Commitment to working within the ethos of quality manufacturing and organizational excellence.
