Job Opportunity: Part-Time Bookkeeper
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper to join a busy architectural firm based in Dublin City Centre. This part-time role offers flexibility with either 3 full days or 4 half-days per week, along with hybrid working arrangements. It provides an excellent chance to work independently within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Preparing financial statements for trial balance
* Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
* Managing cash flow
* Handling billing and credit control
* Processing payroll and managing staff expenses
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes
* Liaising with external auditors for year-end accounts
* Preparing monthly VAT returns
* Performing other ad-hoc finance and insurance-related duties as required
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* 5+ years of experience in a similar position
* Part-qualified or studying towards a professional qualification such as ATI or ACCA
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to review data accurately and report on key metrics to both finance and non-finance senior management
* Data-driven and analytically minded
